Buloo Original is an elegant, gently sparkling kombucha-based aperitif crafted by Belgian chef Pieter Lonneville. It's designed to mirror the finesse and texture of champagne while remaining alcohol-free and low-calorie. Made via natural fermentation, Buloo ferments a blend of kombucha, rooibos, black and green tea, cherry, lemon, coriander, rosemary, and laurel. The result is a refined, champagne-like drink with depth and subtle complexity.

What to expect

Dry and aromatic, with fine bubbles reminiscent of a quality crémant. Aromas of rooibos, black tea, cherry, lemon zest, and soft spice unfold into a flavor profile balancing acid, bitter, and sweet notes. Some describe delicate hints of rose adding floral elegance. 


Perfect Pairing

An ideal companion to oysters, seafood, citrus-forward salads, grilled vegetables, and refined vegetarian dishes. Equally suited as a standalone aperitif or elegant complement to slow food and festive plates.


Serving suggestions

Serve well chilled at 6–8 °C in a champagne flute or white wine glass. Garnish with a rosebud or citrus twist to enhance the floral spice. Enjoy within a week of opening for best freshness.
